Abstract

Hitting is perhaps the most difficult motor skill in the Baseball game. A good batter must have a series of qualities such as good vision and mental agility. All this to be able to give an effective motor response to choose an effective pitch and impregnate the swing with maximum acceleration at the moment of contact with the ball, to have the ability to anticipate actions, to study the pitchers, to bat in the direction where the pitches come from, to be and adapt a position in the home plate to make sure of the hits that are in the strike zone, among many others. Therefore, it is strategic to focus in this proposal the present research setting by methodologically organized exercises to contribute considerably the technical-tactical improvement of the contact phase in batting in young players.
